The cute and sweet actress Nithya was born on 8 April 1988, in Bangalore, Karnataka. She has completed graduation in journalism at the Manipal Institute of Communication. She never dreamt about acting, but loved to be a journalist. But she felt that journalism was not what it used to be and decided to be a film-maker and joined a course in cinematography at the FTI Pune. During her enterance exam she met director Nandini Reddy, which turned Nithya to actress. Then she signed for the lead female role in her first project "Ala Modalaindi", under Nandini Reddy direction. Nithya Menon is an Indian film actress and playback singer, known for her works in South Indian films. In 1998 she made her acting debut as a child artist in an Indian English language film "Hanuman". She has gained fame through Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and even English films. She is coming up with Vikram Kumar's 24 and K. S. Ravikumar's bilingual project titled Kotigobba 2. Her Telugu upcoming movie is with NTR jr titled Janatha Garage.
